Buying a ring online in Pakistan means guessing your size, and a wrong guess means a return, a courier charge and a week of waiting. This guide gives you two ways to measure at home with things you already own, plus the size chart most Pakistani stores use in 2026.
Method 1: measure a ring you already own
- Take a ring that fits the finger you are buying for.
- Lay it on a ruler and measure the inside width in millimetres, edge to edge, not including the band.
- Match it to the chart below.
Method 2: measure your finger with a strip of paper
- Cut a thin strip of paper about 1 cm wide.
- Wrap it around the base of your finger, snug but not tight, and mark where it overlaps.
- Measure the marked length in millimetres. That is your finger circumference.
- Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest, and make sure the ring can pass over the knuckle.
Ring size chart used in Pakistan
- Size 5: inside diameter 15.7 mm, circumference 49.3 mm
- Size 6: 16.5 mm, 51.9 mm
- Size 7: 17.3 mm, 54.4 mm. The most common size for Pakistani women.
- Size 8: 18.1 mm, 57.0 mm
- Size 9: 18.9 mm, 59.5 mm
- Size 10: 19.8 mm, 62.1 mm
If you land between two sizes, go up for a wide band and down for a thin band.
The easy way out: adjustable rings
